With Huang Qin clears Liver and Gallbladder Heat.
With Zhi Shi, strongly moves Qi.
With Huang Qin and Zhi Ban Xia, for Shao Yang disorders with alternating chills and fever and a sensation of fullness in the hypochondria and chest.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Blood Deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation and vertigo, dizziness, thoracic and costal pain, and menstrual irregularity due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rx. ScutellariaeHuang Qin3-12gClears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies, cools the Blood, stops bleeding and calms ascending Liver Yang.
With Bai Shao, for dysenteric disorders with abdominal pain due to Heat entering the Interior.
With Da Huang, for constipation.
